6 “But as for Me, I have installed ^aMy King
Upon Zion, ^bMy holy mountain.”

7 “I will announce the ^{▼▼Or decree: The Lord said to Me}decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, ‘You are ^dMy Son,
Today I have fathered You.
8 ‘Ask it of Me, and ^eI will certainly give ^fthe ^{▼▼Or Gentiles}nations as Your inheritance,
And the ^hends of the earth as Your possession.
9 ‘You shall ^{▼▼Another reading is rule
,} ^jbreak them with a ^{▼▼Or scepter; or staff}rod of iron,
You shall ^lshatter them like ^{▼▼Lit potter’s ware}earthenware.’”
